Love comes in many colors and forms. Our favorite...green and sustainable.
Life Elements supports community involvement, education, health, employee empowerment, environmental awareness and responsible purchasing.
We back our concept with quality products by supporting local and global sustainability in the production and the growing of the raw materials. The sourcing of the raw materials is done with integrity and practices that benefit the people who grow them and the environment they are grown in.
We are an active member of the community, volunteering and working with non-profit organizations such as Achievement House Inc., which is dedicated to providing vocational and community living services for developmentally disabled adults. Life Elements and the Achievement House have an established contract whereby these adults assemble all the C&M Couples gift sets. Together, we're turning dissabilities into possibilities!
At Windrose Farms, we help and learn from Farmers Bill and Barbara how to grow organic food and strategize on how to build a sustainable local economy. In 1998, Life Elements created “Beneficios de Comunidad de San Pedro” in Jalisco, Mexico, a community fund established to help provide medical care for the elderly and school supplies to underprivileged children. As part of Life Elements growing community involvement, the company will expand its efforts to other communities in the U.S. and around the world.
Life Elements is committed to implementing responsible environmental practices and has been recognized and approved as a green business by Co-op America Business Network. As part of our commitment, we maintain a variety of responsible programs in our everyday business practices, such as using recyclable packaging for our products, recycled paper for printing, recycled cardboard boxes and packing materials for shipments, we keep our thermostat down in the winter by insulating the windows, we’ve cut our vehicle usage by riding our bicycles and ship Carbon Free through our partnership with Carbonfund.org. But it doesn't stop there...we will further our efforts as we continue to grow and learn of new alternatives and remain committed to the education of global sustainability.
You too can do your part...go to Co-op America: Economic Action for a Just Planet and Carbonfund.org to learn how.
